COS - Falcon Flight

Falcon Flight is the “graduate school” of the National Cadet Officer School. While COS focuses on strategic leadership, Falcon Flight focuses on executive leadership and personal growth as a leader. 
 
Ten cadets will participate in an academically intense series of lectures, in-depth discussions, and exercises specifically designed to prepare them for service as future leaders. In addition, a wide variety of top military and industry leaders come for guest speaker lunches to discuss their experiences with the cadets.
 
HOW TO APPLY 
Use the NCSA Main Menu module of eServices to apply. Applicants will also need to upload the following documents in PDF format by 15 January:
 
1.  A resume to include special activities attended, leadership positions held, current assignment, school and grade level.
 
2.  A 2-3 page essay answering the question:  What is the most important lesson you have learned about leadership and how have you applied it in your role as a leader?
(If applying to both IACE and Falcon Flight, send your essay to Mr. Steven Trupp)
 
3.  A letter of recommendation from a senior member who is personally knowledgable of your performance in a leadership role.  The letter should address the level of responsibility, your performance as a leader, and your ability to work with subordinates, your peers, and your superior officers.

Eaker Award at time of application

Travel:

Travel expenses to and from the activity are included.*
 
 *Airline tickets will be purchased by NHQ for those cadets more than 250 miles away from Maxwell AFB, and mileage will be reimbursed for cadets living within 250 of Maxwell AFB.
